What you need for the full paint collection:

You'll need WinZip™ to properly extract these zip files to maintain the the files & folders directory stuctures.

Download these zip files into a folder of your choosing on your harddrive. The order you install/Extract doesn't matter.Save the zip files in case you need to reinstall the sets at a later time.

1) The lastest paintcfg.ini and list document from the 1 zip file on the MPFirst page. The paintcfg.ini makes all schemes work from the remaining paint folder/file .zip files

2) On the WarPaints page: the 4 large zip files toward the top plus any recent updates or additions of individual MP squad sets

Aces, Historical sets and customs have been rolled into the WarPains files .. so ..
That's 4 zip files total for the entire community collection, not including more recent individual MP Squad Sets updates that may be listed on the WarPaints page.

3) MP Default Paints: 1 zip These skins display on planes in the game that are not using sq#s and most that you don't have MP Paint files for.Use of these files means you'll rarely see stock Dynamix textures on planes in MMP

How to install the zip files:

Extract (Use folder names) each zip file to your RedBaron3D or RedBaronII folder. The files and (sub)folders will install automatically

!Warning! Unzipped, there are nearly 170MB of files in the whole collection , which because they are about 21,000 small files, actually use about 375MB of drivespace !

Be sure you have plenty of FREESPACE on your hard drive !

If you allow Windows to manage your Virtual Memory (Swap file ) , I'd suggest 600MB freespace. If you set your own virtual memory , then you probably don't need this warning ;)

!Triple Warning! If you have an early Win95 FAT16 set up, these 1,000s of small files may take up 900MB+ of your harddrive space ! Win95b OEM can be installed with FAT32 and was in most new systems from Fall '97 foward.
